Class Rules

1.       Be courteous to classmates & teacher.

2.       Be prepared with blue or black pen, book(s), notebook, paper, any other required materials such as disks, and assignment. If you must go to your locker to get your materials, you may be late for class and have to report to student management, taking an absence for the day.

3.       Be prompt.

4.       Make up work promptly, within 3 days unless you see me for an exception. Make an appointment with me; don’t just assume that I will be there or that I will have the make-up assignment. Be in the room at 10 or 15 minutes after school dismisses. [Take a break first; I will.]

5.       Identical compositions & similar assignments both receive 0’s. See the honor code.

6.       Sleep at home, not in English.

7.       Follow all school rules.

8.       Keep private body parts covered (ladies and gentlemen).

9.       Use blue or black ink and cursive for all assignments unless otherwise directed.

10.       Ask for make-up work early or after school. I cannot interrupt class to get that together.

11.    Weekly tests (vocabulary, spelling, etc.) must be made up by the time of the next test or they receive 0’s.

12.    Long term assignments are due on the due date. If you are absent, send them to school or the assignment is counted late and points are deducted.

13.    Your fair share of my attention in approximately 3 minutes. If you require more, it may be a class disruption.

14.    Disgusting noises disturb the class.

15.      Uncontrolled laughter disturbs the class.
